Wow! I've been coming to this location and the Scottsdale location for years. I can't believe I've never left them a review. Anyway, I really enjoy Cornish and their food/beverage offerings. Their places always have great ambiance and are clean. My go-to is the Italian Signature Pasty. So delicious! The layers of pepperoni, salami, capocollo, ham, and fresh mozzarella are perfect. I always get an extra marinara sauce too for dipping. If I'm not getting the Italian, my other favorites include the Meatball, Pesto Chicken, and the Reuben. Honestly, just hard to go wrong with any of them I believe. As for the beverage selection, my go-to here is the Ace Pear Cider. Refreshing and simple. They have a great selection of other beverages though. Lastly, the service is always great. Thank you all! Note: Be advised, the downtown location has some minor construction happening on the first floor but the second floor is still fully open.

The atmosphere fit the bar/restaurant! They are delicious and very filling. If you are not very hungry I recommend splitting one (if you are there with people). It was designed to represent what the patsy’s were created for - eating in the mines. It’s a local favorite and even on the local food tour stops. It’s worth noting that these pastys are made fresh every morning, and they run out of certain types by the evening. Don’t be surprised if the one you want is no longer available by dinner. But I still recommend going.

Absolutely delicious. Love the look inside, really cozy. Great service, she was really nice. The food was great, from sides to desserts, it was all so good. The bread, oven chips and mashed were all just so tasty it was hard to not have leftovers, but we did. The mexican pasty was really good, loved the salsa. The real star of this show was the sticky toffee pudding, though. It's genuinely top 5 desserts I've ever had in my life. It was so warm and moist and the oven gives it such a sweet char taste it was just marvelous. I'd show up just for a drink and some toffee pudding. Highly recommended, nice place to eat.

Got it to go but delicious. The Royal was great. I always get things (like burritos) with fries in them with no fries because they’re always an overwhelming filler... for some reason I thought it was fries on the side so I didn’t and this thing was a perfect balance of what all was in it and not just stuffed with fries. So crispy and delicious. Wish I had something like this back home!

So I’m the “HR person” that was seated at the bar which a recent negative review mentions. Except I’M NOT HR, OR EMPLOYED BY CORNISH IN ANY WAY, I’m just a regular who has cherished the Cornish Pasty as a pillar of our downtown community the past four or so years. The guest that wrote the review had previously come in and was flagging a bartender down rudely, pushed a drink back toward her and refused to pay, and then stormed out. This all came to light as he was complaining about her to me and the bartender that was working. We gently told him that his version of the events might not quite match reality, to which he balked at first. However, after a calm and friendly conversation with him, he actually reflected on his own behavior and how he could’ve done better. He left saying that he’d apologize to the bartender if he saw her again. Then wrote that review... Cornish is a staple of Phoenix dining for a reason. It’s authentic, it’s unique, and above all else it’s just delicious and cool. If you are the type to snap your fingers at staff, throw a fit because of a teeny tiny error with your order, or otherwise act like your patronage is god’s gift to an establishment...it’s probably not your scene. If you want bartenders and staff that are real/interesting humans, the tastiest and coziest food that you can’t get elsewhere, an amazing selection of beers and drinks, an environment that feels like the perfect balance between gritty and comfy, and a distinct soundtrack that’ll have you nodding your head...then Cornish might be the spot for you. Tuck into a seat at the idyllic outdoor bar, dig into a Cottage Pie, sip on a chilly Bavik Pilsner, and tell them Jake sent you :P Or better yet just say hi, because I’ll most likely be sittin’ right next to you having the same.

My father and I were charmed by Cornish Pasty Co. He had the rueben pasty and I had the balsamic portobello pasty followed by the Banoffee pie. Delicious. So glad we went and us Floridians would gladly return if given the opportunity.

One of the best meals I've had in a while. The Guinness stew pasty and loaded potatoes were amazing. Great texture, flavor. So savory. Great service sitting at the bar. Fun if a little dark on the ambiance. I honestly can't wait to go back next time I'm in downtown Phoenix.
